For my final bachelor project at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, I tried to challenge the typical reading process of a text using illustration in a space.
I chose the folk tales genre, who became children stories, and “Little Red Riding Hood” in specific, which is a canonical story in the western culture.
Every tale evolved to different versions and created layers of which it is possible to interpret the story.
I would like to bring the experience from the literal world to the visual one.
The way in which the story is told in space examines, challenges and destabilises the collective cultural memory of our culture.
